This is a scientific writing about monarchs. First we wrote about the Monarchs. Then we made a video about the beautiful orange and black butterfly! It was very fun but hard. This is my writing, I hope you enjoy it!

The Life of a Monarch

First, the butterfly lays its eggs on a milkweed plant. Second, the egg hatches. Third, the caterpillar eats and eats… It only eats milkweed. Fourth, it becomes a butterfly and the cycle starts over and over agin. A butterfly dries its paper-like wings and then it takes flight on its scaly wings and searches for another milkweed plant.
